Overview
Mimosa x Orange Punch is an indica-dominant hybrid (65% indica, 35% sativa) created by Barney's Farm through the careful backcrossing of their Orange Punch strain with the 2020 sensation Mimosa Evo. This genetic combination resulted in a strain that preserves the best characteristics of both parents—the beautiful dark green and purple hues and uplifting high of Mimosa Evo, combined with the short, stout stature and sweet, citrusy aroma of Orange Punch. The strain stands out visually with its thick, sticky, resin-loaded flowers that develop into dense, bulbous clusters displaying vivid colors, often showcasing rich purples intertwined with bright orange pistils, all covered with a heavy layering of trichomes that gives the flowers a frosted appearance. This compact plant produces exceptionally dense buds that are noted for their ease of manicuring and intense citrusy candy orange aromas that intensify throughout the cultivation process.

Mimosa x Orange Punch is considered beginner-friendly and stays fairly compact, typically growing to about 80cm indoors with short internodal spacing that makes it very adaptable to small tents or compact grow spaces. With regular training and pruning, indoor yields can reach up to 700g/m². Outdoors, plants grow much larger (up to 180cm) and can produce up to 1500g per plant. The strain has a relatively short flowering time of 55-60 days indoors, with outdoor harvest ready in September. The plant demonstrates good resistance to pests and diseases, is robust, and can tolerate high nutrient doses, making it easy to manage with reduced need for constant care.
