Night Train
Night Train
Also known as: Nighttrain, Cole Train
Overview
Night Train is an indica-dominant hybrid strain (60% indica/40% sativa) created through crossing Jasmine and Trainwreck strains. Originally bred by Elemental Seeds in California, this strain has gained recognition for its potent sedative effects and therapeutic properties. DNA Genetics also developed their own version of this genetic combination, which they named Cole Train. The strain exhibits dense, elongated buds with a medium to dark green coloration, abundant orange and yellow pistils, and a thick coating of frosty trichomes that give it a crystalline appearance. Night Train has earned its name through its powerful body-relaxing effects that can quickly transport users into a deeply relaxed state, making it particularly well-suited for evening and nighttime use. The strain has won several awards including recognition at High Times Cannabis Cup competitions.

Growing Information
Night Train is considered relatively easy to cultivate and is suitable for both novice and experienced growers. The strain exhibits typical indica growth patterns with short, bushy plants that reach heights of 36-60 inches, making it ideal for indoor cultivation with limited vertical space. It has a flowering time of 6-8 weeks (50-60 days), which is relatively fast for an indica-dominant strain. The plant produces dense, resinous buds with moderate to high yields (10-12 oz/m² indoors, up to 12 oz/plant outdoors). Night Train is hardy and resilient, capable of withstanding temperature fluctuations and environmental stress. It thrives in both indoor and outdoor environments, with outdoor harvest typically occurring in late September to early October. The strain prefers a warm climate with temperatures between 22-27°C (72-80°F) and semi-humid conditions when grown outdoors.
