OG Blueberry is a remarkable hybrid strain that originated from a cross between DJ Short's Blueberry phenotype and OG Kush, combining their distinctive qualities to offer a unique therapeutic profile. The original Blueberry strain was created by legendary cannabis breeder DJ Short and is believed to have originated sometime in the 1970s or 80s from a cross between an Afghan indica and Thai and/or Purple Thai sativa. The strain is 70% Cannabis indica and 30% Cannabis sativa, making it an indica-dominant hybrid that creates primarily relaxing and calming effects. The creator Barney's Farm tightly controls the sale of seeds, making them very hard to come by, so the easiest way to grow is to get cuttings from someone with a mature female plant.
