Orange Bud is an award-winning cannabis strain that has been around for decades, developed in the 1980s by Dutch Passion. This strain was created from a perfect combination of Afghani Indica, Acapulco Gold, and Colombian Gold genetics, making it one of the original Skunk varieties and still one of the best available. The strain resulted from crossing two unknown Skunk varieties in Amsterdam during the 1980s.
Orange Bud is a sativa-dominant strain that has consistently surprised and amazed even the most demanding growers. The strain produces dense, compact inflorescences that are usually large and fairly light in color, characterized by a high presence of orange pistils from which it gets its name. Growers report that this strain comes in dense buds with orange hairs coating the surface.
