Plushberry
Plushberry
Also known as: Plush Berry, Plushberry Kush, Plushberry OG Kush, Pink Lady
Overview
Plushberry is an indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain created by TGA Subcool Seeds (MzJill Genetics) through crossing Black Cherry Soda and Space Queen. Originally tested under the name 'Pink Lady,' this strain was bred specifically to combine the tantalizing blackberry aroma and flavor of Black Cherry Soda with the increased potency and resin production of Space Queen. Known as one of TGA's first offerings from the Kush family, Plushberry was designed with taste and smell as the primary selection criteria, rather than visual appeal alone.
The strain is renowned for its stunning visual characteristics, displaying vibrant pink and purple hues throughout both buds and foliage when exposed to cooler nighttime temperatures. The small, rounded forest green nugs feature dark purple undertones, thick amber hairs, and a heavy coating of frosty, pink-tinted crystal trichomes that give the plant a 'plush' appearance. This heavy resin production makes Plushberry particularly valued for hash production. Two main phenotypes exist: a smaller, pink-tinted variety preferred by many for its enhanced flavor and potency, and a larger, more indica-dominant phenotype that produces higher yields but with slightly less intensity in both flavor and effects.

Growing Information
Plushberry can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors, including greenhouse environments. The strain has a flowering period of 55-65 days (8-9 weeks), which is relatively fast for cannabis plants. When grown indoors, plants typically reach 4-6 feet in height, making them manageable for most grow spaces. The strain prefers soil as a growing medium over hydroponics for optimal flavor development, though it adapts well to both. TGA Subcool recommends topping the plants to encourage bushier growth and increased bud sites. Plushberry requires moderate care and attention, making it suitable for growers with some experience. Expected yields are medium to heavy, typically 3-7 ounces per square meter indoors. The strain is known for heavy resin production and develops stunning purple, pink, and crimson coloration when exposed to cooler nighttime temperatures during flowering.
