Purple Zkittlez
Purple Zkittlez
Also known as: Purple Skittlez, Purple Z, Purple Skittles
Overview
Purple Zkittlez is a cross between Purple Punch and The Original Z (Zkittlez) that offers a rich flavor alongside a potent high. Though it's hard to name the exact breeder, some people believe that it is a piece of work from Ethos Genetics. This slightly indica-dominant hybrid strain exhibits a 60% indica/40% sativa ratio. Purple Zkittlez buds have gorgeous spade-shaped dark green nugs with deep purple undertones, dark amber hairs and a coating of thick frosty purple-tinted crystal trichomes. The strain emerged as part of modern cannabis breeding programs that aimed to maximize both cannabinoid and terpene potential, combining the robust sedative qualities of Purple Punch with the uplifting, tropical flavor profile of Zkittlez.
Purple Z offers a complex palate of violet, berry, and flowery notes, which is relatively rare and sets it apart from strains with simpler flavor profiles such as earthy or citrus notes prevalent in many hybrids. This strain is best for evening and nighttime consumption. Purple Zkittlez RBX is available as feminized seeds from Ethos Genetics and can be cultivated indoors and outdoors with a flowering time of approximately 63 days (9 weeks).
