Purpurea 09

Purpurea 09 is an inbred cross of the legendary Swiss outdoor variety Purpurea Ticinensis from 2009, which Owls produced for many years - at the time it was one of the most popular hemp varieties from Switzerland. Helvetic Seeds has now revived this mostly Sativa by sowing Purpurea seeds from 2009 outdoors in 2019 and crossing the best male with the best female. It was possible to preserve the original genetics of this old Swiss original variety and many outdoor gardeners will definitely have great pleasure with these seeds.

This strain represents a carefully preserved piece of Swiss cannabis heritage, selected specifically for its adaptation to harsh Alpine conditions. Purpurea 09 is perfectly adapted to the mountainous climate of the Alps, so it is of course also suitable for cooler, harsh climates around the world - the variety is extremely resistant and always impresses with its fantastic results. The flowers are compact and have a floral fragrance. Leaves and flowers are red to purple in autumn, the colder the nights get, the stronger the discoloration. The strain exhibits Christmas tree-like growth patterns and can develop striking purple coloration in cooler temperatures, making it both visually appealing and agriculturally robust for outdoor cultivation in challenging climates.
