Queen of Soul
Also known as: QOS, Queen of Soul Regular
Queen of Soul Strain Overview
Queen of Soul is a sativa-dominant hybrid strain developed by Brothers Grimm Seeds through a complex three-generation breeding program. The strain was created by crossing Princess with Cinderella 99 and Vortex, resulting in approximately 70-80% sativa genetics. Queen of Soul is the result of a breeding program that spanned 3 generations, with the foundation starting with a favorite Cinderella 99 female which has proven for over 15 years to create the classic flavors, high, and resin production that made C99 famous.
The strain exhibits the typical appearance of a sativa plant with long-fingered leaves, but its floral structure resembles more of an indica with dense, compact Christmas-tree shaped plants displaying very large, resinous flowers. The buds are fluffy and oversized, conical emerald-green with bright golden undertones, thick neon yellow-orange hairs and chunky, golden-white crystal trichomes. Plants develop dense, Christmas tree-like shape with big, heavy colas and branch tips that sparkle with resin so thick the plants look white. Queen of Soul has gained recognition for its exceptional bag appeal and potency, with Brothers Grimm Seeds being established in 1996 and celebrated for creating seminal strains like Cinderella 99 and Queen of Soul.

Queen of Soul Strain Growing Information
Queen of Soul can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors with a flowering time of approximately 60-65 days. Brothers Grimm recommend 60-65 days of 12/12 flowering after the seedlings are 6-8 weeks old. She grows to a medium height and her big and resinous flowers are ready for harvest after 60-65 days. The strain is flexible and thrives in a warm and dry climate where it can reach heights of up to 5 to 8 feet tall. Indoors, it produces solid yields ranging from 400 to 500 grams per square meter, while outdoors, growers can expect around 450 to 550 grams per plant when grown in ideal conditions with harvest around October. The plant develops strong branches that don't need support despite the weight of the flowers. A central stake will be enough for the plant to flourish. The strain is suitable for intermediate growers and responds well to various training techniques.
