What is the R4 strain?
R4 is a hybrid cannabis strain with up to 1.0% THC, known for its relaxed effects and blueberry and earthy flavor profile.
R4 is a rather elusive high CBD hybrid strain created through a combination of Wu #1 (a mix of Reclining Buddha X Heartland Cream) X Blueberry Haze. This strain was originally created and crossbred by the lead grower Kelly Roller at Greenwerkz Dispensary in Edgewater and Glenwood Springs, Colorado. From looking at genetic reports R4 also known as Charlotte's Web is really a Hardly-Tsu cross. R4 was the original source of the Mythical CW or Charlotte's Web. The type now named after Figi was not the first type her parents tried. As their original supply, a type called R4 that is also high in CBD and low in THC, was running out.
Although its exact indica to sativa ratio are unknown, patients won't care once they see its average CBD level that bottoms out at 20% and THC level of less than 1%. In fact, they'll throw all caution to the wind once they find out that the CBD level has been tested as high as 79% in concentrates of R4. The Highest tested CBD strain on the planet at 23.5% and less than 1% THC. This bud has super leafy rounded spade-shaped bright neon green nugs with light minty green patches and lots of super thin bright orange hairs. There are sparse clear crystal trichomes and droplets of sweet sticky resin that can be seen on each leaf. While a high CBD amount for a normal strain would be up to 3 percent by weight, R4 has consistently clocked in at between 14 and 20 percent CBD.

How do you grow R4?
R4 is an indica / sativa from New420Guy Seeds and can be cultivated indoors and outdoors (Where the plants will need a flowering time of ±67 days). They are moderately easy for home growers to cultivate both indoors and outdoors. R4 strain is known to grow to an average height and yield moderately high during harvest. R4 strain grows best in a controlled indoor setting, with optimal temperature and humidity levels. We removed this strain previously due to germination problems, but we are very happy to present it again thanks to our friend and breeder Rich Kehrer who has been working on this inbreed line of R4 and other CBD strains for several years. The strain requires approximately 9-10 weeks flowering time and is considered moderately easy to grow for experienced cultivators.
