Overview
Raspberry Diesel is a modern classic born from Humboldt County breeding programs that set out to merge old-school fuel with bright, dessert-like berry tones, resulting from the collision of two powerhouse genetics, the sweet Cherry Afghan and the highly productive Sour Diesel #2. Raspberry Diesel is a sativa-dominant hybrid (65% sativa/35% indica) that oozes berry and oil aromas with a hint of freshly ground pepper. Most cuts on the West Coast trace back to Humboldt Seed Organization, which popularized the cross and stabilized it for vigor and yield, combining the "Old World" Cherry Afghan with popping sweet and spicy flavors with the vigorous, resistant, highly productive and incredibly pungent Sour Diesel #2. The strain features fluffy spade-shaped minty green nugs with thin orange hairs and a coating of frosty tiny white crystal trichomes. Trellising is recommended to support long spiraling bud sites, which display rock-hard raspberry-shaped nugs in later stages. Raspberry Diesel is also a great resin producer, making her a good choice for concentrates, known for having an incredibly high resin count.

Aggressive during vegetation with masses of thin fingered light green leaves, Raspberry Diesel is ready indoors after 65-70 days of flowering and produces up to 450-600g/m² of prime bud. Outdoors expect sativa style trees reaching up to 200-300cm tall, gifting a very reasonable 1000-3000g/plant. Rapid and vigorous vegetative growth makes for quick transitions into the flowering periods. Thinner fan leaves and long spacing between node sites allow for deeper light penetration into the canopy stimulating secondary growth. Little time is needed for the vegetative state, as Raspberry Diesel will more than double during the flowering period. Trellising is recommended to maximize production as large rock hard Raspberry shaped buds will appear all the way down the stem.
