Red Red Wine
What is the Red Red Wine strain?
Red Red Wine is a hybrid cannabis strain with up to 27.0% THC, known for its relaxed effects and berry and diesel flavor profile.
Red Red Wine, taking its name from the classic song written by Neil Diamond and made famous by UB40, is a truly beautiful plant in every way. From the spectacular deep purple colouring to the glistening layer of resin, not forgetting the incredible aromas and flavours of red wine, Red Red Wine is sure to conquer all who cross her path: growers, smokers and hashmakers alike. This new and exciting hybrid from Perfect Tree is based on a selected clone of Rozay F2, a super-frosty indica hybrid of Sherbert x Purple Bomb bred by Relentless Genetics, resulting in resin-coated buds with a sweet candy flavour of fruits and berries with notes of red wine and a well-balanced effect. To complement this sweet and fruity variety, Perfect Tree have reversed their special selection of Jet A, bred by Exotix Genetic, an indica-dominant cross of Gelato 33 x Tina with an intense fruit and gas/fuel flavour, superb resin production and a powerful effect. Her big, purple buds have an amazing structure with heavy, swollen calyxes and very few leaves, making for extra-fast trimming. This variety combines the Rozay sweet fruity notes with Jet A gassy aromas to make a unique terpene profile that recreates the experience of enjoying a fine red wine from southern Europe.

How do you grow Red Red Wine?
Red Red Wine plants are easy to grow, providing excellent results and great yields. Indoors the flowers are ready in about 7-8 weeks, while outdoors the harvest is ready in late September. Red Red Wine is a fairly tall strain, meaning she is very well-suited to outdoor cannabis gardens, where she can stretch her branches and soak up as much sun as she pleases. However, with a little training and attention, Red Red Wine can also grow really well in rooms or tentsβjust remember to train her early and defoliate her regularly to control her vigorous vegetative growth. Red Red Wine promises a generous indoor yield of 600 grams per square metre of high quality, purple, top shelf buds that are easy to trim. Outdoors, a full-grown plant in a sunny location can be expected to yield 800 grams per plant. Red Red Wine has a slightly above average reach. This means it shouldn't be left in the growing phase for too long if you are growing it indoors and want it to reach an average height of 100-120cm. Outdoors they can reach over 220 cm and are ready for harvest by the end of September (northern hemisphere).
