This strain is a cross between Blissful Wizard (selected phenotype #60) and a Nom Nom male, combining genetics from two potent parent lines. Blissful Wizard, created by The Captain's Connection, is itself a cross of Girl Scout Cookies and Captain's Cookies, known for winning first place in the 2015 SoCal Cannabis Cup non-solvent hash category with THC levels reaching up to 34%. The Nom Nom male parent brings additional complexity from its lineage of Gorilla Glue #4, Cherry Pie, and Mainline OG genetics.

Regulate was cultivated by Organicraft, a small-batch producer that grows in 500-square-foot rooms using high-quality salt-based nutrients. The strain is characterized by a caryophyllene-dominant terpene profile with over 4% total terpenes, producing strong petrol and gas aromas with deep green coloration and heavy trichome coverage.
