Romulan Grapefruit
Romulan Grapefruit
Also known as: Grapefruit Romulan, Stinky
Romulan Grapefruit Strain Overview
This is a hybrid descendant of the popular strains Romulan and Grapefruit. They combine to create a strong indica (sativa/indica ratio unknown) with both mental and physical effects. In this hybrid the Romulan male is dominant in flavor and effect, while the Grapefruit female is dominant in yield and structure. Known for its Indica-dominance, it's the lovechild of Romulan (an Indica) and Grapefruit (a sativa). Romulan Grapefruit (aka Stinky) is an mostly indica from Next Generation Seed Company and can be cultivated indoors and outdoors with ±50 days flowering time. Grapefruit Romulan was also nicknamed "Stinky" because of its musky deep woods pine stench mixed with heavy grapefruit-citrus and pungent cheese odors. This hybrid has been a personal favorite of mine for over 20 years. Grapefruit Romulan has large, oval shaped buds with long dark green leaves and purple undertones. The center of the flower is of lighter shades of green with curly orange clumps of pistils throughout. Romulan Grapefruit, not surprisingly, has a strong aroma and flavor of grapefruit, together with cheese and apples.

Romulan Grapefruit Strain Growing Information
The plants will be branchy and grow fast. Its an easy to grow strain that is great for first time growers. It is a great way to make the most of small spaces indoors, where it will be ready after 8-9 weeks of flowering. Outdoors the heavy buds will need support weeks before its early October harvest. Next Generation Seed Company's Romulan Grapefruit is/was never available as feminized seeds. This strain is considered moderate difficulty to grow and responds well to indoor cultivation with good yields expected when properly supported due to heavy bud development.
