Sandstorm is a 100% pure indica strain developed by Cannabiogen in 1998, created through a cross between a potent Pakistani Chitral Kush hashplant and a traditional Moroccan cultivar (also known as Mi7-B). Descending from two great hash lines, this indica variety offers a high that targets both the body and mind in almost equal measure, with the strain proving its worth by coming in second place at Spannabis Cannabis Champions Cup in 2005. Sandstorm is a vigorous hybrid that's easy to cultivate, producing stocky plants with sturdy stems and branches supporting lush dark green foliage and enormous, incredibly solid buds generously covered with trichomes. The buds are fluffy and leafy spade-shaped neon green nugs with dark purple leaves and undertones and a sparse spattering of thin amber hairs. The strain exhibits three main phenotypes: white/green varieties that are more citrus and lemony in nature, green/purple types, and completely purple varieties ranging from deep purples to pink/red colors. The taste profiles range from lemony citrus to lavender/strawberry, offering very complex aromas like a perfume.
