Seriosa is a hybrid cannabis strain bred by Serious Seeds, resulting from crossing an outstanding AK-47 with their best Serious Mimosa. This strain was originally released as a promotional offering and gained such popularity among customers that it earned a permanent place in the Serious Seeds catalog. The variety is characterized by the formation of a distinctive main bud with only a small number of lateral branches, making it well-suited for SOG (Sea of Green) cultivation methods. Most plants from these seeds do not form a bushy shape but rather have 1 main stem with few shorter side branches on the lowest knots.

Seriosa exhibits two distinct phenotypes based on its parent genetics. Buds of the more Mimosa type pheno are compact, round, and of medium size, while plants with a more AK47 strain structure have bigger and more elongated buds. All buds have a lot of crystals, or trichomes, with heavy resin production extending to the small leaves protruding from the buds. Towards the end more than half of the plants show beautiful lila and purple colors in the leaves and in the tops, which do not come from stimulation by low temperatures, but rather from the ripening up of the plants. This exotic coloration is more prominent in feminized seeds than regular ones.
