SkullRyder is an autoflowering cannabis strain developed by Black Skull Seeds, a Spanish seed bank founded by two UK growers who relocated to Catalonia. This strain emerged from the early autoflowering movement, created when the breeders sought to improve upon the original Lowryder genetics by enhancing yields and potency while maintaining the desirable autoflowering traits. SkullRyder was developed by crossing carefully selected Lowryder genetics with BubbleBud, resulting in an improved autoflowering variety that maintains compact size while delivering better yields and enhanced potency. The strain represents a significant advancement in autoflowering cannabis breeding, combining the rapid flowering characteristics of ruderalis with the quality and effects of traditional cannabis varieties. SkullRyder features a genetic composition of 60% Indica, 30% Ruderalis, and 10% Sativa, creating a predominantly indica-leaning hybrid with autoflowering capabilities. The plants remain compact, typically reaching 30-60cm in height, with some specimens staying as short as 30cm while others can reach up to 50cm.
