Snow Leopard Strain Overview

Snow Leopard is an indica-dominant hybrid created by Bodhi Seeds through crossing Tigermelon and Snow Lotus, both strains containing strong Haze and Afghani influences along with Thai and Mexican elements. Snow Lotus brings heavy Afghani genetics from Afgooey and Block Head, while Tigermelon contributes ChemD and an Uzbekistani landrace hash plant to the genetic pool. The strain is classified as slightly indica dominant with approximately 55% indica and 45% sativa genetics, though some sources indicate it contains at least 45% indica with 30% sativa and 15% variable phenotype expression. Snow Leopard is an extremely rare strain that is difficult to find on dispensary shelves, currently being primarily available in the Pacific Northwest, specifically Washington and Oregon. The buds display a lumpy and super dense pepper-shaped structure with light minty green coloration, dark amber hairs, and a frosty thick coating of tiny milky white trichomes with visible droplets of sweet syrupy resin.

Snow Leopard Strain Growing Information

Snow Leopard has an indoor flowering time of 8-10 weeks (approximately 63 days) and produces 10-12 ounces of buds per square meter indoors. Outdoors in the northern hemisphere, it flowers from the second to last week of October and can yield at least 12 ounces per plant. The strain is considered beginner-friendly for outdoor growing as it's a sturdy plant with strong branches and stalks that resist temperature changes and light breezes. However, its Snow Lotus parent can be finicky to grow successfully, so Snow Leopard is best suited for cultivators with at least some experience. The plant can be cultivated indoors, outdoors, and in greenhouse environments with a 9-week flowering period. The strain shows good resistance to common pests and mold issues, making cultivation easier for growers.
