Overview
Sour Alien is a indica-dominant hybrid (60% indica/40% sativa) created by crossing Alien Kush and Sour Diesel. Developed by The Cali Connection breeders, this strain emerged during the 2010s era of West Coast breeding when diesel and alien genetics were at their peak popularity. Breeders sought to create a hybrid that could temper the high-octane cerebral drive of Sour Diesel with the earthier, kush-style steadiness of Alien lines.
The strain produces large, lumpy spade-shaped dark olive green nugs with rich purple undertones, purple and orange hairs, and a super frosty layer of crystal white trichomes. It's noted for its dense buds with purple throughout, making it visually striking. The aroma combines sour pungent earth with hints of pine, apples, skunk, and diesel undertones. Similar to Sour Diesel terpenes, Sour Alien packs a sour-citrus top note but with less skunk and more touches of pinene and mint.
Sour Alien provides consumers with a euphoric, relaxing, and happy experience with a mellow high that is perfect for many consumers.
