What is the Sour Star strain?

Sour Star is a hybrid cannabis strain, known for its uplifted effects and citrus and sour flavor profile.

Sour Star was realized after hybridizing East Coast Sour Diesel together with StarBud, created by HortiLab Seeds as an indica/sativa hybrid marijuana strain. It's an equal mix of indica and sativa genetics, representing a balanced hybrid that combines the best characteristics of both parent strains. Introduced as HortiLab's 2013 hybrid creation, this strain stands out for its unique flavor profile, reminiscent of sweet tarts candy for some phenotypes, and is known for its impressive yield. The Sour Star has a very moreish flavour, some phenotypes have a tangy, sour candy taste, and is great for hash & concentrates and very potent. The buds are quite small, however, when grown under expert care, they will be covered with a white crystal blanket, looking super enticing, with growers noting that Sour Star develops a vigorous and strong structure. Unfortunately, this strain has been discontinued and is no longer available for purchase from seed companies.
