SPEC-R is a rare hybrid cannabis strain developed by High Five Genetics as a tribute to the legendary Nissan Silvia SPEC-R drift car. This boutique strain was created through the crossing of GTR F3 (from Leo Stone's Aficionado Seed Collection) with V-SPEC (from Aficionado French Connection line, bred by Leo Stone in collaboration with Professor Q). The strain represents a unique breeding project that honors the work of legendary cannabis breeder Leo Stone, combining genetics from both his Aficionado Seed Collection and French Connection lines.

The lineage of SPEC-R brings together the best characteristics of both parent strains, which share similar genetic backgrounds but utilize different Sour Diesel BX1 males in their breeding. GTR contributes strong terpene production with fuel and gas characteristics, while V-SPEC adds higher yields and better plant structure. The strain was developed as a personal project and has never been commercially released to the public, being used exclusively for further breeding programs including the creation of TYPE-R (Gage Green's Archetype × SPEC-R). This exclusivity makes SPEC-R one of the rarest and most sought-after strains in boutique cannabis breeding circles.
