This line emerged from crossing various generations of Sweet Chunk with the goal of selecting plants that closely resembled the original SPG clone in characteristics and effects. The strain is predominantly sativa in growth pattern and exhibits the typical stretchy, vigorous growth associated with sativa genetics, making it well-suited for techniques like topping or main stem pruning.
This breeding line was never intended as a commercial release but rather serves as a developmental step in Alpine-Seeds' quest to recreate the famous Sweet Pink Grapefruit clone through seed form. Only 20 limited packs were made available through MyCannapot as a special release. The strain produces medium-firm flower clusters comparable to the original SPG, with very good resin production, though not quite matching the exceptional resin levels of some other lines in the project. The aroma profile is consistently sweet with detectable grapefruit undertones when consumed, though the scent tends to be sweeter and possibly darker compared to the original SPG clone.
