What is the SSSDH strain?
SSSDH is a sativa cannabis strain, known for its uplifted effects and citrus and diesel flavor profile.
SSSDH, which stands for Super Silver Sour Diesel Haze, is a mostly sativa strain that represents a legendary combination of two premier cannabis genetics. Originally developed by Reservoir Seeds and later refined by Connoisseur Genetics, this strain was created by crossing Super Silver Haze with Sour Diesel. The breeding process involved combining the two parent strains and then breeding two SSSDHs together to create the final product. With the blessing of Reservoir Seeds, Connoisseur Genetics used the multi cup winning SSSDH (OJD cut) and original release packs of Super Silver Sour Diesel Haze to work the strain and refine its characteristics towards those of the cup winning cut.
SSSDH gained significant recognition in the cannabis community, winning 1st Place for OJD at the IC 420 Growers Cup 2009 Sativa category and 1st Place for Hundred Gram Oz at the IC 420 Growers Cup 2010 Sativa category. The strain exhibits classic old-school cannabis characteristics, featuring a very old-school bud structure with a Haze look, uniform coloring typical of old-school strains and genetics, displaying mainly one shade of green. The buds are denser than they appear at first with dark pistils running through them that are incredibly visible.

How do you grow SSSDH?
SSSDH can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors with a flowering time of approximately 77 days (11 weeks). The original Reservoir Seeds version has a flowering time of approximately 80 days. Plants need space and should not be placed close together. The strain grows to tall heights and provides massive yields after a flowering time of 10-12 weeks. If left untopped, plants develop into towering green pillars lined with large and dense buds crowned with a huge main cola, with some phenotypes becoming so productive they may require support during flowering. This strain is suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation but requires adequate space due to its tall growth pattern. Difficulty level is considered intermediate to advanced due to the long flowering time and stretch characteristics typical of Haze genetics.
