Strawberry Blonde
Strawberry Blonde Strain Overview
Strawberry Blonde is a sativa-dominant hybrid cannabis strain (approximately 70% sativa/30% indica) created by crossing Super Lemon Haze with Sour Strawberry. Bred by The Farm Genetics, this strain crosses Super Lemon Haze with Sour Strawberry to create a sativa-dominant hybrid that's great for hiking or exploring new places. The strain was originally developed by The Farm Genetics, though some sources also credit Twenty 20 Genetics with versions of the strain. Originally developed as an R&D strain for hash production, we immediately adopted it after discovering its rather unreal trichome production and unique terpene profile.
The strain is renowned for its striking visual appearance, featuring tight, dense purple nuggets with hints of pink and red, with thin hair pistils covering the bud that take on a color most can only describe as strawberry blonde. This bud has fat and fluffy minty green oversized nugs with bright orange hairs and a coating of tiny blue-tinted white crystal trichomes. The strain combines the best characteristics of its parent strains, inheriting flavor profiles from both of its parents, retaining both a lemony and a berry taste that creates quite the interesting mixture on your palate, taking on the lemon flavors of Super Lemon Haze as well as the sour berry flavor of Sour Strawberry.
Strawberry Blonde has gained popularity in modern cannabis markets due to its exceptional terpene profile and balanced effects. Across reported COAs, Strawberry Blonde typically expresses THC in the 18 to 26 percent range by dry weight, with standout batches pushing 27 to 28 percent, while CBD usually remains minimal, commonly between 0.05 and 0.5 percent. The strain is particularly valued for its excellent trichome production and is often used for hash and solventless extraction due to its exceptional resin quality.

Strawberry Blonde Strain Growing Information
Strawberry Blonde performs well in controlled indoor environments and temperate outdoor climates with warm, dry late seasons. Indoors, expect 8 to 9 weeks of flowering from the flip, with some phenotypes reaching optimal ripeness at week 10 depending on desired trichome color. Yields typically range from 450 to 600 grams per square meter under high-efficiency LEDs. Outdoors in full sun with good soil and IPM, plants can produce 500 to 900 grams per plant, with harvest windows from late September to mid-October in the Northern Hemisphere. Strawberry Blonde is an aggressive fast growing plant with great lateral branching. The F1 parents were hunted in an outdoor garden and quickly proven to be some of the most formidable plants in the garden. In general, the plants don't require an excessive amount of trellising. Plants can handle heavy feedings and defoliation is recommended on plants with abundant fan leaves. The strain is suitable for growers with some experience and responds well to training techniques. The cultivar's dense colas require proactive airflow and humidity control to avoid botrytis.
