Strawberry Diesel is a balanced hybrid strain created by crossing NYC Diesel and Strawberry Cough, resulting in an evenly balanced 50% indica and 50% sativa hybrid. According to seed bank Holy Smoke Seeds, this cross results in a balanced hybrid with lots of trichomes and a reported moderate THC level. The strain was developed by breeding Kyle Kushman's Strawberry Cough Clone to select Sour Diesel males, and its breeding history involves meticulous selection and cultivation by some of the industry's most respected breeders.
Strawberry Diesel buds are typically a lighter green color and are covered in an abundance of orange hairs, with a heavy coating of white trichomes which makes the buds dense and sticky. The buds are dense and well-structured, showcasing a vibrant mix of greens and purples, all covered in a thick layer of frosty trichomes. True to its name, Strawberry Diesel has a sweet, fruity flavor with strong notes of diesel fuel, while the aroma is fruity and skunky.
