Strawberry Frost is an indica-dominant hybrid strain created by Madd Farmer Genetics through a cross of (Strawberry Cough X Deep Chunk) X Space Queen. Strawberry Frost is an indica dominant hybrid (85% indica/15% sativa) strain created through a cross of (Strawberry Cough X Deep Chunk) X Space Queen. The strain emerged in the early 2010s, a period when the cannabis community was eagerly searching for distinctive flavors and potent effects. This strain was specifically bred to achieve short, thick stemmed, large budded plants that were some of the frostiest we have created to date. The breeder used their SCDC (Strawberry Cough/DeepChunk) mom and open pollinated her with our Space Queen male, better known as The Dick.
Strawberry Frost exhibits a striking visual appearance with oversized dense flat minty green nugs with lots of amber hairs and a super frosty thick coating of tiny blue tinted crystal trichomes. While its yields are average, concentrate makers love Strawberry Frost for its high density of trichomes. The strain has gained recognition for its exceptional resin production and quickly became a benchmark for indica-dominant hybrids.
