Sugar Klingon is a rare evenly balanced hybrid strain (50% indica/50% sativa) created by Dutch Flowers through crossing the equally rare Klingonberry and Fig Widow Queen strains. Sugar Klingon is a rare evenly balanced hybrid strain (50% indica/50% sativa) created through crossing the equally rare Klingonberry X Fig Widow Queen strains. The strain was developed with the specific purpose of breeding out the undesirable traits of "blue" genetics while maintaining the hashy berry flavor and clear high of premium Blueberry and Bubblegum varieties. Our aim was to breed out the undesirable traits of the "blue" genetics (difficult to grow, brittle, too many leaves, poor calyx to leaf ratio, tale-tell stink, boring low power stone) while maintaining the hashy berry flavor and clear high of the very best Blueberries and Bubblegums. The addition of Fig Widow Queen genetics contributed extra potency and superior bud structure, with enhanced crystal content. This strain represents the result of painstaking selection from dozens of potential Klingon mothers, specifically bred for quality of high, ease of growth, and yield. The name "Klingonberry" originated from a Swedish tester who thought of lingonberry jam at first taste due to its fruity and buttery characteristics, combined with a Star Trek reference to create the distinctive moniker. This bud has long popcorn-shaped minty green nugs with purple undertones, bright orange hairs, and a coating of frosty white crystal trichomes.
