Super Skunk Autoflowering is an indica dominant hybrid strain that contains a total of 80 percent indica genetics and 20% sativa. The strain was created by crossbreeding the parent strains Skunk #1, Afghani Hash, and cannabis ruderalis, which gives it its autoflowering capability. Created in the Netherlands in the 1990s by the legendary breeders at Sensi Seeds, this strain represents an automated version of the famous Super Skunk, which itself was the result of a cross between Skunk #1 and an Afghani landrace strain. As an auto-flowering cannabis strain, Super Skunk Automatic begins flowering at a predetermined time – usually around three to five weeks after seedlings emerge from the growing medium.
The plants maintain a short and compact size that allows users to grow with discretion and privacy in mind. Visually, it closely resembles other indicas, with a typically 'Christmas tree' form and dense and lime green buds. Much of the flower growth occurs on the central cola. Super Skunk Automatic produces delicious, fat, fragrant buds which bristle with oversized calyxes and almost drip with resin. This strain has won recognition, with Sensi Seeds' Super Skunk Automatic winning 1st Place at the Highlife Cup 2014 in the category Automatics.
