Super Skunk Y2K is a hybrid cannabis strain, known for its euphoric effects and earthy and pungent flavor profile.

Super Skunk Y2K is the result of a two-year project by Lucky 13 Seed Company to bring back the classic Super Skunk that has nearly been lost to time, through a vast phenotype hunt of multiple vintage Super Skunk strains from their seed vault. The strain is created through open pollination of multiple heirloom Super Skunk lines, utilizing Super Skunk seeds that were held in storage dating from around the turn of the millennium. The project was motivated by the knowledge that Skunk plants of 20-30 years ago are far superior to what is making the rounds today, which trend towards the current market fad of super-sweet and fruity expressions. The original Super Skunk that was circulating through the underground market in the 90's and early 2000's was a far more pungent plant with a much more distinct and euphoric high. In this open pollination, the primary goal was skunky and pungent aromas, requiring significant culling of any phenotypes that didn't express that telltale funk expected in a strain called Super Skunk. Due to this singularly focused selection process and the sheer number of plants combined in this massive open pollination, growers should not expect clone-like uniformity in Super Skunk Y2K.
