This strain represents a careful breeding project that combines classic Southeast Asian landrace genetics with Afghan heritage. The breeder selected a specific 1:1 THC:THCV female from Real Seed's Thai IBL line, which is known for being a fast-flowering sativa that finishes around 11 weeks with dense resinous buds and a distinct sweet mango flavor profile. The Thai parent was chosen as a favorite from various 1:1 crosses due to its intensely sweet flavor and overall yields, with effects described as very clear and cerebral.

The Kunduz D parent brings important genetic stability to the cross. This F3 generation comes from an inbred Afghan line from the Kunduz region crossed with Marie Laveauv, which itself is a combination of Big Poppa (Garlic) x Lashkargah White 91. The Kunduz D line is noted for being super stable, indica-dominant, with very high terpene and resin content. This careful genetic combination creates a truly vigorous cross with mixed ratios of THC:THCV ranging from 5:1 to 2:1, representing an innovative approach to cannabinoid profile breeding that was relatively uncommon when this strain was developed.
