Tangilope
Tangilope
Overview
Tangilope is the offspring of two powerhouse sativas: Tangie and Chocolope. Both parents, as well as Tangilope, come to us from DNA Genetics, who sought to create the pinnacle of all sativas. Tangilope is a hybrid, but it weighs in at 90 percent sativa. The 10 percent indica helps smooth out some of the racier tendencies of this strain, and also adds a bit more heft to the buds. DNA Genetics Seeds, the reputable breeder behind Tangilope, has a long-standing history of innovation and excellence that dates back over two decades. Tangilope is a cupwinning variety and won the 1 Place at the Santa Cruz Cup 2014 in the category Cannabis Cup / Best Cannabis, submitted by DNA Genetics Seeds!
Tangilope nugs are long and tapered and shaped much like chili peppers. Trichomes abound, with copper pistils threading through the green flower and crystalline coating. This bud has long pepper-shaped lumpy light minty green nugs with rich amber undertones and dark amber hairs and a frosty fine layer of tiny chunky white trichomes. It is best known for its intense terpene profile and exotic smell. This high-powered bud is most famous for its taste, which is said to be like eating a chocolate covered mandarin orange slice. The smell is very much the same, with a spicy sweet orange bouquet that has a pleasant spicy chocolate smell that emerges when the nugs are broken apart and smoked.

Growing Information
Tangilope is surprisingly easy to grow, making it a suitable choice for novice growers. This strain has an average flowering time of eight to nine weeks and can produce around 14 ounces per plant. Tangilope is quite resistant to the more common forms of mildew and mold and can hold its own against many pests. This strain is known to flourish under both indoor and outdoor conditions, with its sativa-dominant genetics best expressed in environments that maximize natural light and airflow. Growers have recorded indoor yields ranging from 600 to 800 grams per square meter under optimal conditions. The plant thrives in a slightly warmer temperature range between 24°C to 28°C (75°F to 82°F) during the day, with a slight drop at night.
