Tasman Haze

Hybrid

Tasman Haze Strain Overview

Tasman Haze gets its name from Abel Tasman, the famous Dutch explorer who was the first European to discover New Zealand on December 13, 1642. He saw a beautiful land, lush and green with forests, crystal clear rivers and lakes, and a climate very good for growing. Tasman Haze is Kiwiseeds' salute to that amazing time. This strain is a rare sativa-dominant hybrid (80% sativa/20% indica) with unknown sativa heritage. Tasman Haze is an F1 hybrid with parents kept secret by the breeder. The father to this plant is 40% indica, hence the pungent aroma of Tasman Haze which ends up covered in crystals. The mother is a 100% sativa giving the rich, spicy undertones typical of the Tasman Haze. Tasman Haze won 2nd prize at the High Times Cannabis Cup for being an amazing sativa-dominant strain in 2007. The strain displays strong growth with dense buds all the way up the branches thanks to the haze/sativa influence. This bud has super dense conical bright green nugs with long thin amber hairs and a coating of tiny clear crystal trichomes.

Tasman Haze Strain Growing Information

Tasman Haze has a flowering time of 60-70 days with a plant height of 100-120cm and yields of 400-500 grams per m². The strain has high THC and low CBD levels and is suitable for temperate and hot climates. This strain thrives in outdoor, indoor, and greenhouse environments. The heights are exceptionally short for a Haze variant, reaching only 100-120cm. Cultivators tend to grow Tasman Haze in hot and temperate climates for optimal results. The dense buds can develop mold when plants don't receive solid air circulation. It easily yields about 400-500g/m² indoors, with high THC and low CBD levels. The effect is mainly psychoactive and psychedelic, although it is accompanied by a feeling of body and mind relaxation provided by its male parental, which has 40% indica marijuana genes.
