Thai A5 Haze

Sativa

Also known as: Thai A5 Haze Limited Edition

Thai A5 Haze Strain Overview

Thai A5 Haze is a cross between an excellent quality Thai from the Golden Triangle and A5 Haze (NL # 5 x Haze A) from Nevil, where the Thai 'tunes' the psychoactivity of A5 Haze towards much cleaner, cerebral, euphoric and energetic effects. This is a dominant Thai-Haze hybrid with a practically pure sativa expression, bred by ACE Seeds as a feminized limited edition available while stocks last. A5 Haze is one of the rarest mothers (and probably the most powerful one) belonging to the family of Dutch elite clones of Haze hybrids that Nevil Schoenmakers developed at the end of the 80s and that are still preserved to this day.

The strain maintains a 90% sativa / 10% indica ratio and exhibits exotic and ancient aromas of leather, liver, incense, hashish and decomposing flowers from the A5 Haze mother in certain specimens, also giving rise to the fact that other individuals offer incredibly refined fruity terpene profiles suggestive of peach and apricot fruit juice with incense (coming recessively from the male Haze A), which together with the sweet, creamy, perfumed, floral and musky aromas of the more refined Thai side, culminate in these more fruity phenotypes with a wonderful and complex bouquet. The raw power and production of the A5 have been sacrificed but we have managed to substantially improve the quality of its effects, which are much more positive, pleasant, creative, expansive and ceiling-less in this Thai cross than in the origin, making it particularly appealing to pure sativa enthusiasts.

Thai A5 Haze Strain Growing Information

Flowering indoors 12-14 weeks, flowering outdoors November. Yield average-low but very suitable for SCROG, horizontal or network growing due to its excellent yield in the lateral branches and its vigorous reaction to pruning. Especially suitable for outdoor cultivation in tropical or subtropical climates, although it can be cultivated with very good results in warm coastal climates of mild autumn (similar to the Mediterranean) up to latitudes close to 43º. Recommend 11 (light)/13 (darkness) photoperiod for the flowering indoors, in order to boost the flowering, and to avoid reflowerings or excessive stretching in early flowering. Recommend low-moderate levels of nutrients for the whole cycle. High resistance against mildew, very high resistance against botrytis, average-high resistance against spider mites and white fly.
