Trinidat Gold is a compact indica variety from KalySeeds' PAC-Genetik (Pseudoacercannabis) line and represents a selection from the Trinidat lineage that has proven successful in warm regions. The strain's lineage traces back to a cross between NL Haze (cuttings) and a Jap.hop, which was bred over 10 generations by KalySeeds, with the first leaf variants destroyed during a raid in Germany in January 2006, after which breeding continued in Spain with new leaf variants selected in 2009. The Jap.hop parent is a hybrid from 1998 between Purple Star and Japanese Hop, serving as the ancestor of all PAC strains.

Trinidat Gold thrives magnificently in greenhouse conditions while being less suitable for indoor growing. The plant's leaves resemble beer hops, making plantings difficult to detect. The harvest timing is relatively late compared to other PAC varieties, with the first ripe buds ready around October 15th, and the plant continues producing new buds until the end of November. The quality equals that of a good indoor plant, producing firm, resinous tops with high THC content and a typical Haze aroma.
