Triple Pakistan
Triple Pakistan Strain Overview
Triple Pakistan is a landrace-based indica strain developed by Underground Seeds Collective (USC) from three strains of Pakistani landrace cannabis: X18 and Pine Tar Kush from Tom Hill on one side, and Wild Pakistan (Aunt Of Farouk), an heirloom strain preserved for over forty years. This robust and vigorous 80/20 Indica-Sativa hybrid exhibits different phenotypes varying from green to more colourful purple/red flowers, giving off aromas ranging from hashish to red fruits. The strain represents a modern preservation of traditional Pakistani genetics, allowing growers to experience aromas of yesteryear, bringing back memories of classic flavours and releasing a powerful aroma of traditional Pakistani hash that will delight more experienced smokers, in particular those that make their own resin extractions.
The genetic foundation draws from historically significant Pakistani landrace varieties. Pine Tar Kush (Tom Hill release) was brought back from Pakistan in the early 1980's and is aptly named for its wood-flavored terpenes and tar-like buds, while X18 is a heirloom Pakistani landrace with seeds said to have been acquired on location in the 70s and has since been acclimated to California growing conditions. Wild Pakistan, also known as "Aunt Of Farouk," represents another preserved landrace line from the 1970s era, contributing to the strain's authentic old-school character.
