This strain represents a unique combination of two distinct genetic lines, inheriting characteristics from both parent strains. Putang is itself a hybrid strain (40% sativa, 60% indica) made from crossing Tangie and Star Pupil, known for its delicious sharp orange citrus flavor with dank candy grape background and psychedelic, trippy and intense sativa, energetic effects. Burnt Toast F2 comes from crossing Berners Cookies/French Toast with Berners Cookies and French Toast, contributing indica-leaning hybrid characteristics to the lineage.

The strain was developed as part of Raw Genetics' extensive breeding program, which focuses on creating unique flavor profiles and effects through careful selection of parent genetics. Tropical Escape can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors, with plants requiring a flowering time of approximately 61 days (ranging from 56-65 days). The strain has never been available as feminized seeds, only offered in regular seed format, making it particularly appealing to breeders and cultivators interested in phenotype hunting and breeding projects.
