Ultimate Purple
Ultimate Purple
Also known as: The Ultimate Purple
Overview
Ultimate Purple is a meticulously crafted hybrid cannabis strain developed by B.C. Bud Depot in British Columbia, Canada. Created through an ambitious breeding project that aimed to capture all the best qualities of purple cannabis strains, Ultimate Purple represents the culmination of years of selective breeding and genetic refinement. The strain was developed by combining five legendary purple genetics: The Purps, Purple Urkle, Granddaddy Purple, Grape Ape, and SR71 Purple Kush, creating what the breeder calls the "ultimate purple strain."
This polyhybrid exhibits the distinctive deep purple and violet hues characteristic of premium purple cannabis, with dense, resin-coated buds that display rich purple coloration throughout the leaves and calyxes. The strain's appearance is complemented by bright orange pistils and a thick coating of trichomes that give the buds a frosty, crystalline appearance. Ultimate Purple was specifically bred to address common shortcomings in other purple strains - some had great flavor but slow growth, others had color but lacked potency, and some barely showed purple coloration at all. B.C. Bud Depot's Ultimate Purple successfully combines vibrant coloration, potent effects, exceptional flavor, and reasonable flowering times into a single, well-rounded cultivar.

Growing Information
Ultimate Purple is considered moderately easy to grow and suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. Indoor flowering time is 7-8 weeks (approximately 49-56 days), while outdoor harvest typically occurs in late September. The strain grows to a medium height, staying under 130cm (4.3 feet) indoors, making it suitable for smaller grow spaces. Expected yields are 400-600 grams per square meter indoors, with the strain producing dense, resinous buds. The plant shows good vigor and can be manipulated into various garden setups. Cooler temperatures during flowering help enhance the purple coloration, though the strain will display purple hues under normal growing conditions due to its strong genetic predisposition.
