This strain was created by crossing FXW #4 Mother (FX Line) with Blueberry F4 Male (FX Line), bred to perfection by the legendary DJ Short Seeds. As a mostly indica hybrid with minor (10% or so) phenotypic sativa variation, Velvet Krush represents the continuation of DJ Short's celebrated breeding legacy that began in 1978.
The majority of plants show vigorous indica growth (shorter, wider) producing hardy plants with thick, hollow stems and medium stretch that features dense, rounder buds, while a few prefer the elongated, 'spear-shaped' bud structure (the 10% sativa). Velvet Krush is a high yielder under optimal conditions, with flowers that are dense and dark, featuring good commercial bud structure, with purples, blues, reds, yellows and greens that rainbow through the finished flower. Closely related to Blue Moonshine, Velvet Krush offers a sweet, floral, and berry musk that will remind you of berry candy.
