Watermelon Zkittlez is an indica-dominant hybrid strain (70% indica/30% sativa) created through crossing the delicious Zkittlez X Watermelon strains. However, some sources report different ratios, with one source indicating 55% indica, 45% sativa and another showing 55% indica and 45% sativa. This strain was created by crossing Watermelon and the Original Z, with Barneys Farm being a notable breeder, though many other breeders have released their own versions. The strain originates from Purple City Genetics (PCG), based out of Oakland, California, with the original version bred by Dying Breed Seeds as a cross between Watermelon Zum Zum #3 and OG Eddy, though other breeders like Barney's Farm have developed their own versions.
