Xocolope is a sativa-dominant hybrid strain (70% sativa/30% indica) created by Eskobar Seeds through crossing the renowned Chocolope strain with Jalisco IBL, an heirloom Mexican landrace strain from the Western Sierra Madre mountain range. This unique genetic combination brings together modern cannabis breeding techniques with old-school heritage genetics, creating a strain that offers the best of both worlds. The Jalisco IBL parent, straight from the birthplace of tequila culture in Mexico, was specifically chosen to add early frost development and to temper the typically large size of pure sativa strains while maintaining exceptional quality.

Xocolope is characterized by its spear-shaped forest green nugs with minty undertones, thick orange hairs, and a heavy coating of frosty white crystal trichomes. The strain produces very long, dense buds typical of its sativa heritage, and offers a complex flavor profile that combines lemon, dry gin, candy, chocolate, cocoa, old-school Mexican spices, and earthy undertones. With a flowering time of 9-10 weeks (approximately 67 days), Xocolope can be successfully cultivated both indoors and outdoors, though growers should note that it was originally available only as regular (non-feminized) seeds.
