Xtreme Kush is an indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain developed by Xtreme Seeds Co., resulting from the cross between OG Kush San Fernando Valley and pre-1998 Bubba Kush with a genetic composition of 90% indica and 10% sativa. This strain was created through a selection process by the Xtreme Seeds Cannabis Co. team, starting from seeds selected from the extinct Old Dream Genetics, a craft seed bank that resulted from collaboration between great cannabis growers. Both parents of this legendary crossing were obtained from the first auctions of genetics in inter-cannabis forums around the year 2006. The strain was awarded 1st place in the "hash" category at the growers tasting in X Cannabis Parade 2012.

Xtreme Kush is recognized for being a major producer due to its excellent branching form, producing large and very hard buds shaped like fat golf balls, inherited from its Bubba Kush parent.
