Yoda OG
Yoda OG
Also known as: Yoda
Overview
Yoda OG, also known simply as "Yoda" to most of the cannabis community, is an indica dominant hybrid (85% indica/15% sativa) strain that is a potent phenotype of the infamous OG Kush strain. The strain is said to hail from Florida, before it eventually migrated to Southern California, where it began to gain its present day fame and notoriety. While the exact lineage remains somewhat mysterious, it is believed to involve genetics from OG Kush, Chem Dawg, Lemon Thai, and Old World Paki Kush.
This strain boasts its OG genetics with chunky pale buds that are fluffy and medium sized, featuring a tangle of orange hairs and a thick coating of white trichomes. Yoda OG is a THC-rich strain with lab tests measuring THC levels from around 15% up to the mid-20s, with some top phenotypes reportedly reaching ~28% THC, while CBD content is typically very low (often well under 1%). Users describe Yoda OG's high as a slow-building wave that reaches an intense peak of full-body sedation, often culminating in a deep, pain-free sleep, with this indica strain having a slowly building body high that peaks and leaves users completely lethargic and utterly couch-locked.
